You will be assured of a warm welcome by the owners Shirley and Dave Crew to our home with the "one in a million" view. The Boathouse B&B occupies a truly stunning location on the water's edge overlooking Charlottetown Harbor, yet is only 5 minutes away from the city itself with it's many attractions, including theaters, fine dining, museums and the Charlottetown Confederation center where you see many fine shows. The Boathouse has been completely renovated from top to bottom and has now become a unique style of property.From the moment you enter the welcome lounge, you will be amazed at the skill and craftsmanship that has gone
into rebuilding our home. We have hardwood walnut floors throughout from the front to the back lounge, from where you can descend via a beautiful beech spiral stair to the recreation room below. Here you can watch TV or a video on a super size screen, or else just relax with a book from the library or play a game of cards. Step outside through the patio doors onto the rear garden and enjoy the amazing views across the harbor. If the tide and weather are right you are welcome to use our kayaks to paddle out into the river, and you may even be lucky enough to see one of the cruise liners which regularly berth opposite during the summer months. The sunsets seen from our back garden are truly spectacular and well worth waiting for. Yachts race on the river every week, which adds a little extra to the usual river activity. For the golfing enthusiast the top class Fox Meadow golf and country club is literally a 5 min drive away. The beautiful sandy beaches of the North shore with their warm waters of the Gulf of St Lawrence are a 30 min drive, while the red rugged cliffs on the South shore, famous to PEI, are 10 mins down the road.
