Our Victorian home was built in 1904 and has been upgraded to include all of life’s modern amenities. Centrally located downtown on a quiet residential street we are only a ten-minute walk to Parliament Hill.

The Rideau Canal, Byward Market and other major tourist attractions are all within easy walking distance.

Many great local restaurants and shops also allow you to take advantage of our free on site parking and walk everywhere.

A private guest entrance leads you to our 4 beautiful and secure bedrooms. The owner operates the Bed and Breakfast and lives on site in a separate unit, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

We serve a full hot gourmet breakfast every morning at your preferred time.

Also included in our very reasonable rates are free on site parking, central air conditioning, and a complimentary beverage bar.

We also provide our guests with many extras such as free local calls, an iron and ironing board, hair dryers, umbrellas, Wireless and DSL High Speed internet access in every room, slippers & robes, alarm clocks, microwave, refrigerator, television and DVD player.

There is also a front garden deck where you may sit and enjoy the outdoors during the warmer weather.

Year Round

Single: $85 - $100
Double: $95 - $120

Please ask about the various rate discounts we offer throughout the year. A two night minimum stay may apply at certain times of the year. You will be advised at the time of your reservation inquiry if this condition applies to the dates you have requested.

Reservation Policy: Ambiance B&B requires a valid major credit card in advance to hold and secure all reservations. Full payment may be made by method of your choice upon arrival. You may contact us by telephone or email to inquire about availability. If inquiring by phone we will obtain your credit card details and some other contact information at that time should you wish to reserve. If you are inquiring by e mail we will promptly respond to you with our availability. If you wish to reserve once room availability has been established, we will obtain your credit card information in a follow-up telephone call or via our secure web page.
Ambiance B&B will confirm all reservations with an e mail.

A standard non-refundable $25.00/room admin. fee will be applied to your credit card for any cancellation.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled Less than 7 days before your arrival date, a 50% of the entire reservation will be charged to the credit card provided to secure the booking.Less than 3 days before your arrival date or if you do not arrive at all, 100% of the entire reservation will be applied. In the event of early departure or a reduction in the number of nights originally confirmed 50% of the remaining reservation will be applied. This policy applies to each room reserved and charges are subject to applicable taxes.

*Reservations held over Canadian Holidays, Special Events, local Festivals, Conferences or when reserving two or more rooms at a time will always require 7 full days notice of cancellation.
**A Cancellation fee will not be applied if you reschedule your entire reservation, permitting the dates you choose are available. If we refill the entire vacancy a refund will be applied to your credit card**
