Ambleside Lodge Bed & Breakfast is located in the community of Canmore, Alberta, in full view of Canada’s spectacular Rocky Mountains.

The lodge, one of Canmore’s finest, has recently come under new management. Sue and Dave Booth, a husband and wife team, have taken up the reins as new hosts. Dave retired from the Royal Air Force in March 2005 after 39 years.  Last serving with the RAF Mountain Rescue Service based in Scotland.  Moving back home to Canada Dave now works as a hiking guide with an abundance of local knowledge to help you enjoy your stay.

Ambleside Lodge is just 1.5 hours from Calgary International Airport. Is only 15 minutes from the world-renowned town of Banff, situated in the heart of historical Banff National Park and is less than a one-hour drive from the equally famous Lake Louise.

The lodge is only a 5-minute walk from downtown Canmore with its excellent shopping, restaurants and museums and other points of interest.

When you stay with the Booths you can expect, and will receive, “Hospitality at its Best”.

We are comparatively new kids on the block but we take great pleasure hosting and introducing our guests, from around the world to the community we now call home.

We are more than happy to help you with your plans, so if there where a special occasion or a particular event you would wish to see or celebrate we would be happy to assist you with its planning and organization.
