Beaver Hall is a fine example of early Canadian architecture and located in the heart of the 1000 Islands. Originally, the house was built for a local ships owner who sailed his steamships on the St. Lawrence. Prior to our ownership of Beaver Hall, the house was owned by John L. Russell, an historian with a deep love and appreciation of early Canadian history and her heritage who received the Order of Canada in 1980.
Our stone home is essentially unspoiled and original. In the garden there is a collection of grain millstones used in the early 1800's in the grain mills of Gananoque.
