Enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery. Hike, or ride our mountain bikes on well-trodden trails or simply strike off up the valleys, or over the hills.

We also offer rafting on the wild and wonderful Red Deer River, organized world-class ATV trail rides in the Ghost Waiparous region, and spectacular horseback riding.For the extraordinarily adventurous, try the exciting sport of Paintball.

 

You may prefer to sit on the porch, out on the ridge or lie in one of our hammocks, contemplating, or simply admiring the unbeatable scenery.

Your hosts, Hugh and Shirley Pepper, are both teachers (Hugh now retired). Building our home seven years ago was a labor of love. We always intended to create an environment where our guests could discover and be enriched by the incredible energies of our surroundings.

Hugh has over 30 years experience as a Counselor and Outdoor Education Specialist. Shirley is a specialist in Gifted Education. Both are active outdoor enthusiasts.
 

 

DIRECTIONS: Traveling west from Calgary

  • Take Highway 1 towards Banff
  • Turn north (right) at Highway 22 towards Cochrane
  • Turn west (left) at Highway 1A – 2nd lights
  • Turn right at Highway 40 –15 km west from Cochrane
  • Our entrance is 22 km up the Highway 40. Turn left through two stone pillars into our driveway, proceed 150 meters and turn right
