Sproat Lake is the home of the Martin Mars, the world's largest water bombers. In the summer months these planes are often fighting forest fires around British Columbia, but you may spot one loading up, as pictured on the left.

The Lakewoods Bed and Breakfast has their own private beach on Sproat Lake. Why not enjoy a swim before retiring or before breakfast in the morning!

The beach also has a clear view of the majestic Mount Arrowsmith (pictured below)
