Located along the Bay of Fundy shores, our home offers spectacular views of the bay from every window. Recently renovated with guest in mind, quiet peaceful surroundings,great home cooking, and wonderful value for your money. We are located east of the city of Saint John, about a 30 minute drive and the next tourist destination is St. Martins, which is about a 25 minute drive from our home. Being central between the two areas makes it a great spot to take off from for your daily excursions and return home at night for a fresh air, quiet, country evening.
The scenery around this area is some of New Brunswick's finest, with rolling hills and countryside along the shores of the Bay of Fundy. Beaches galore to sunbath, swim and stroll along. Site seeing attractions consisting of covered bridges, lighthouses, sea caves, old farms and much more. The very popular Fundy Trail Parkway, is in the St.Martins area which is a hiking, biking ,car traveling trail, which takes in a distance of over 16 klms. with outstanding views around every corner of the journey. If you like fish and seafood then you are coming to the right place. Lobsters,clams,scallops in season -What a Treat!
Our home offers many amenities with your stay some include the use of the kitchen to cook meals in if you would like to.Full country style breakfast is provide with your stay each morning. The full use of the laundry service and the garage is sometimes useful when traveling with children or motorcycles. There is a large front veranda overlooking the bay and a second patio on the backside of the house for relaxing on in my garden. Use of BarBQue and chairs and tables all are included . Bonfire fire pit and wood when allowed. Housecoats and slippers in all the rooms. T.V. sitting room with satellite T.V. DVD, some movies and wireless internet throughout the house. Coffee and tea always available and homemade sweets to munch on throughout the day. Within my home I operate a small gallery and store, of my own work including paintings of our province and other subjects along with a few antiques, and hand crafted items this is on the main floor area of the home. The other feature which everyone has loved about our home is that they have the entire house to themselves at night after I leave for the day and go home to my house right next door. Each guests has their own keys to come and go as they please and can relax and not listen to me or my husband snore!!!! Then I return in the morning to prepare the breakfast at what ever time you wish to eat and do the cleanup for the day.This makes for a nice quiet evening with family and friends.
For directions: If traveling in from the U.S.A. border you would travel up highway #1 from St. Stephens and can either bypass the city of Saint John and continue out the highway and take exit 137 A, to get to our home OR {take one of the city exits and go through the city and then come out on either the highway #1 or come out Loch Lomond road Route 111.} You are heading in the easterly direction. If taking the highway #1 and exiting on 137A then proceed to the end of the Arterial road towards the airport, and you will come to the intersection which you will turn left up the hill on Route 111, proceed past Saint John airport, 2kms and then turn right onto Route 825, Garnett Settlement Road and travel 16Kms right to our home on the route 825. There are big blue and white signs at the start of route 825 and on our front lawn with the name of our house- 1254 Moore's Specialties .Tourist Home and Gallery
Coming in from Moncton area take the exit 137 B and proceed left to the end of this road{the Arterial Road}, which takes you over to Route 111 and turn left up hill go past Saint JOhn ariport and proceed 2 kms then turn right onto route 825 Garnett Settlement Road and proceed 16 Kms. to our home -1254 Moore' s Specialties tourist Home and Gallery.
