The Cochrane Ranch House Park offers great hiking trails, a western Historical Museum honouring the livestock and rodeo heritage. -
The scenic Bow River offers great fishing and boating experiences. The river is noted as one of the best trout fishing areas in Canada. Fly fishing in this area is very popular. While you're there, be sure to watch for Bald Eagles, Red Foxes, Deer and Coyotes in the Cochrane area.

The Calgary Stampede is the biggest outdoor show in the world every July. The Alberta High School Rodeo takes place in May at the Lions Rodeo Grounds. Also May 14 is the Cochrane Classic Bull Riding.

Calaway Amusement Park - Family Fun - is a short 20 minutes away on #1 highway. It opens May 24 and runs through to Thanksgiving weekend.

Cochrane is only 10 minutes away. It has an old fashioned, western look to it and the world-famous homemade ice cream is wonderfully delicious! You can browse in the craft stores, view art & bronze displays, or lunch at a variety of coffee shops or restaurants.
Drumheller is where the dinosaurs once roamed and is just over an hour away. A great day trip to travel through the Badlands, view the Hoodoos and visit the Royal Tyrrell Museum.
