Guests are welcome to wander the grounds and sample the orchard fruits of plums, peaches, pears and cherries. The organic vegetable garden is always a delight to see with its fresh vegetables and herbs such as rosemary, oregano and chives that Orinda uses in her B&B kitchen to prepare organic omelettes, Danish meatballs (frikadeller), and an array of other tasty breakfast surprises. A Danish open-faced sandwich dinner is available for an additional fee.

Orinda’s offers a Guest kitchen and an outdoor barb’q for Guests that prefer to make their own light meals to take on a day trip or to savor in the gazebo overlooking the ever changing hues of the Vernon landscape. There is, in addition, an indoor library room with a variety of books for Guests to enjoy. Okanagan Lake, Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club and Historic O’Keefe Ranch are only a two minute drive from Orinda’s. There is also a Cheese Factory and numerous wineries and swimming beaches within a 30 minute drive.
