We are situated centrally, off Route 1A, in a peaceful rural setting minutes from Confederation Bridge, Summerside, Cavendish, many beaches and golf courses.
Make Serendipity B&B Inn your base for your stay on this beautiful Island. All destinations and attractions are within a two hour drive, with most being much closer.

Start your day off with our gourmet breakfast. We will be only too pleased to arrange for picnic baskets and evening meals, on request. There is something wonderful about driving off with a picnic basket on board and returning for a delicious dinner, skillfully prepared.

Garden View Room : Antique French furniture compliments this bedroom with it's queen size bed and ensuite bathroom and the private balcony. This is the most economical room ($85.00 for 1 or 2 persons)
Garden View Room		 Islands Retreat : Ample space here with a queen size and a double bed, both with antique French headboards. The ensuite bathroom has a bath and a shower. The view from the window seat over Bedeque Bay in the distance, offers some fantastic sunsets. An economical option for up to 4 persons
Islands Retreat		 Victorian Suite : The Victorian Suite is 2 adjoining bedrooms each with a queen size bed. The private bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and a shower. A private balcony is also available, with good views over the garden and countryside.

The Sitting Room : We have cable TV, CD Player, VCR & DVD with good selection of CDs, DVDs and movies for all tastes, should guests wish to stay 'at home' one evening.
The Sitting Room		 Renoir Dining Room : While the breakfasts are considered to be excellent, Dolores also does a wonderful job providing Gourmet Dinners to our guests. Her culinary skills leave nothing to be desired. She only needs a few hours notice to prepare a light dinner, or that sumptuous feast. Menus are in each room. If you want to order an 'arrival dinner' on the day of your arrival, we can email you a copy of the Menu for you to make your choices for your gourmet dinner.

The Bedeque Craft Centre can be seen at the lower left. There are over 60 craft exhibitors in the Centre. The choice of crafts is amazing, with all items produced on the Island. The Bargain Fabric Outlet is the largest fabric store in the Maritimes and there is also an antique store and a cafe.

Sunset Beach Cottage : Our spacious and tastefully decorated three bedroom cottage, is one row back from one of the best warm and sandy beaches on the Island. The cottage has been totally renovated with comfortable new furnishings and fittings, to bring it up to our high 'Serendipity' standards. Two of the bedrooms have queen size beds, with the third bedroom having two twin beds. The safe sandy beach is only 100 feet from the cottage. See our website for additional details and photos.
Sunset Beach Cottage		 Sunset Beach Cottage : The cottage comes fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, washer dryer, linens, towels, pots & pans, dishes, glassware, cutlery etc. Ceiling fans, Sattelite TV-VCR-DVD-Radio, are also available. There is a screened sunroom and a deck with Bar-B-Q, for your added comfort.

Sunset Beach Cottage		 Nearby safe beach : The safe sandy beach is only 100 feet from the cottage. This beach, on the Northumberland Strait, boasts some of the warmest waters north of Carolina, with sands that stretch forever. There are miles of safe beach at your doorstep for swimming, walking, clamming and exploring. It is perfect for children. At low tide, hundreds of shallow tide pools warm in the sun.
Nearby safe beach		 The Coach House : The Coach House is a two level modern Dutch Barn style home of approx 1,500 sq ft, which is wheelchair accessible. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower on the 2nd level. The Wheelchair Accessible main level with queen bed also boasts a kitchen, a dining area, a living room, a 'barrier free' 3 piece bathroom with roll-in shower, and a washer & dryer. Ideal for families or small groups. Also available as part of B&B with breakfast.
The Coach House
Coach House-Living Room : Living room has cable TV, VCR and stereo. A propane BBQ is also provided. The Coach House is on the same property as Serendipity Bed and Breakfast.
Coach House-Living Room		 Coach House-Dining Area : Kitchen Dining area is fully equipped with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, dishes, cutlery etc. There is also a washer dryer for guest's use.

Coach House-Upper Suite 		Seaside Cottage : Our spacious 750 square foot cottage contains 2 bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen and dining area. There is a pull-out bed chesterfield in the living room allowing accommodation for up to 6 people. The large rear deck allows fantastic views over the rear of the property to the adjoining bird sanctuary and out to Malpeque Bay.

Seaside Cottage -Living Room : The bright and airy living room has a 2 chesterfields one of which is a bed chesterfield. TV, VCR and Stereo are available.

    3 bedroom Coach House can be rented as a housekeeping cottage ($215 per night / $1,200 per week) or as part of Bed & Breakfast - Main Floor Suite $110 and / or Upper Suite $120

    Reservation Policy: B&B Inn -A deposit equivalent to 1 (one) night is required to guarantee a reservation. Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard or Travellers checks.
    Cottages - 50% of one week rate is required to guarantee a reservation.
    Note that the Beach Cottage and Sunset Beach cottage are rented on a Saturday to Saturday basis


    Cancellation Policy: B&B Inn - Reservations cancelled more than 5 days before scheduled arrival date will be refunded, less a $25.00 administration fee.
    -Reservations cancelled less than 5 (five) days before scheduled arrival date, will be refunded if the room can be rebooked, less a $25.00 administration fee.
    -Reservations cancelled less than 2 (two) days before scheduled arrival date will be charged in full.
    Cottages - For a 1 (one) week reservation, cancellation must be made at least 3 (three) weeks or more in advance of the scheduled arrival date. For a reservation of 2 (two) weeks or more, cancellation must be made at least 4 (four) weeks in advance of the scheduled arrival date. Cancelled reservations not within the above time limits, will be refunded only if the cottage is rebooked. All refunds are subject to a $50 administration fee
