The Bed and Breakfast is in the middle of the bush right beside the Hudson Bay Mountains with views to the Kathlyn Glacier and the ski area. It is adjacent to the Silvern Lake Trail which leads to Silvern Lake. This trail is ideal for hiking and biking in the summer and for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter and offers a nice variety of scenery.

On the Property in front of the house is a beautiful garden with flower beds and a pond, were you can sit and relax. Patio furniture are located in different areas of the garden, so you can relax and enjoy the views to the glacier and the twin falls.


Silvern Lake Trail B&B offers for your comfort:

- all our rooms have private and full equiped bathrooms -
- cozy rooms with   wildlife-flanell bedding
- living room with fireplace, satelitte-tv, free movies, DVD player,
  coffeemachine, microwave, watercooler with springwater,
  refrigerator, free coffee and tea

- full size european or canadian breakfast with fruit or fruitsalat,
  orange juice, homebade bread or muffins, or cheese and sausage's
  arranged on a plate nicely decorated, or bacon and eggs, with
  potatoes, toast and diff. variety of selfmade jam, or cheese and
  sausage's. 

- Free pickup from Airport, Trainstation or Busstation in Smithers

- Campfire and Barbeque grill for guest's use

We also offer dinner for our B&B guests, and you have the choice of one of our 4 course menues:

  • 4-course menu, including

  • soup and salad

  • maindish (like salmon or chicken)

  • sidedish (like roasted potatoes or pasta/rice)

  • homemade dessert

  • The cost per person is $22.50

We have had guests from Argentina as well as New Zealand and Australia, or from all over Europe, even from South Africa.

Blackbear : These Blackbear had a little nap in our backyard.
Blackbear 		Dining Room : We serve our Guest the breakfast and dinner in our dinning room, furnitured with oak-table and chair and view to the Hudson-Bay Mountains. In the Summer, if the weather allows, we serve breakfast as well on the sundeck.

Bulkley Valley : These are the Hudson Bay Mountains with the Kathlyn glacier and one of the twin falls, in front is the Bulkley Valley with the Bulkley River and the Town of Smithers. The Bulkley River is ideal for fishing salmon in the month from mid July til September. And the Hudson Bay Mountain Range is part of the Coast Mountains.
