The Gesta Hús is situated on 43 acres of private property within Hecla Provincial Park, located next to the church at the north end of the historic village. The house has four guest rooms and a treatment room featuring the Chi Machine, Hothouse and Electro Reflex Energiser plus Reiki treatments followed by a soak in the outdoor hot tub.
Gesta Hus is Icelandic for Guest House and our Gesta Hus has the charm and style direct from Iceland but gives you all of the North American Conveniences. Guests share the living room and dining room. You are encouraged to socialize with your hosts and other guests, to play cards or games, to read or watch movies from our extensive collection. You can sit on the verandah, in the gazebo, or in the outdoor hot tub to enjoy the view of the lake, to gaze at the stars and to enjoy the peace and quiet. You can also watch an extraordinary number of birds in the perennial gardens and fruit trees and watch various wildlife pass through the yard.
Guests are usually welcomed by Odin or Loki our resident cats.

THREE DAY SPECIAL: Room with double bed $ 200, Room with a queen size bed $250. Each special includes breakfast for two each morning and evening coffee.
