“Tk’emlups” - Where the waters meet.
Our city was named centuries ago by our first Canadians. Now the city is called “Kamloops”, but our connection with the colourful past remains. Situated at the point where the North and South Thompson Rivers meet, our forefathers built a trading post, and named the rivers after the great explorer David Thompson.
Kamloops is now a great cosmopolitan centre, surrounded by sun drenched grasslands, cattle ranches, sagebrush and mountain vistas. We are at a natural crossroad where rivers, railroads and highways intersect.
Come and meet us at SUNSET BED AND BREAKFAST!
